Shimlas have the need for speed

Powerful FNB Shimlas winger Jamba Ulengo will make his second start of the 2012 Varsity Cup for the Free Staters when they head down to Stellenbosch to take on the FNB Maties this coming Monday.

Ulengo is, of course, back to full fitness after battling with a hamstring injury (making his first appearance last week) and he will join top points-scorer Nico Scheepers and Divandré Strydom in a potent back three.

With Shaun Davids and Cameron Jacobs not in the mix this week, Robbie van Schalkwyk has moved to outside centre, whilst coach Jaco Swanepoel has shifted Rynhardt Erwee from inside centre to flyhalf, with Earl Snyman taking over the No.12 jersey.

Up front, impressive captain Pieter Labuschagnè will lead the Shimlas' charge from the No.6 shirt, with Wilken Heyns taking over at lock from Joubert Horn.

Wessel Zietsman and Stephan Kotze are new faces on the bench, and so too is replacement hooker Michael van Vuuren - giving the Kovsies two excellent hooking options.
