Vishuis' muddy Heimat victory
It was wet, there were great tackles and the match was physically demanding. However, it was not pretty when Steinhoff Vishuis won their friendly match against Heimat by 19-3 on Wednesday night.
The Men from Huis Abraham Fischer are hard at work ahead of the 2012 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby Championships.
"We are now playing as a unit again. Things look to be in place once more," said Danie Cronjé, Vishuis' RC Sport.
"Our squad is basically finalised and we are ready for the championship. Team structures are not yet in place and we still have game plans to go through, but we have eleven days to tend to that."
Fullback Beyers Louw especially helped Vishuis by contributing 14 points with his boot. Vishuis spent the remainder of the week working on fitness and will start getting their structures in place next week.
