Meyer hat-trick secures Bastion win
A hat-trick from Pieter Meyer helped Bastion claim a convincing 37-18 triumph over Oppidani in the Steinhoff Koshuisrugby Championships.

Bastion have won two in a row following their 26-24 win over the Steinhoff Cobras last weekend.
Oppidani got the first points on the board in the match after a cross-kick bounced awkwardly and Sisipo Nxawe pounced on the opportunity to open the scoring with a try.
However, Bastion quickly equaled the scores at 8-8 when flank Meyer crashed over for the first of his three tries.
Centre Ben Verhoef kick four out of five off the tee and scored a try to rack up an impressive 17 points for Bastion in a good performance from the creative inside back.
Oppidani had their moments and added two late tries, but bastion were the dominant force in the match and deserved winners.
