Golf Day:

Ikeys will host an alumni Golf Day on the 5 March 2012 at Mowbray Golf Club.  The visiting team will have up to 16 of their own alumni joining in the day, which will be a "better ball match play" competition. The rest of the field will be our own alumni and we expect up to 100 players - you are invited to participate and enjoy a great rugby day.

Pre-match drinks:
All Ikeys Alumni are invited to join us for pre-match drinks, two hours ahead of each home game at the UCT club restaurant. For more information please contact (TBC).

VC graduate in line for 7s gong

Mathew Turner - formerly of the Ikey Tigers' Varsity Cup squad and now of the England Sevens team - has been shortlisted as a contender for the IRB International Sevens Player of the Year Award.

Captain Whipp still a UCT fan

Before last year's stunning success for the University of Cape Town, Peter Whipp was the last man to captain the Ikeys to the Super League - or as it was known in 1974, the Grand Challenge - title.

Alumni Q&A: John Dobson
