Alice to 'come alive'
Alice will come alive on Monday night when the University of Fort Hare host FNB Wits in the opening game of the Varsity Shield on Monday, January 31.

The Davidson Rugby Field has recently had new floodlights installed and all is in readiness for the big clash which will be televised live on SuperSport. (Kick-off 5pm.)
FNB Fort Hare head coach Elliot Fana is hoping that the support of the home crowd will make the difference for his team against a strong Wits outfit who might be out of their comfort zone in Alice.
"Our people support us all the way, they are behind us," he told varsitycup.co.za.
Fana is aware that, despite playing away from home, Wits will probably be the favourites. However, he pointed out that reputations alone do not win rugby games.
He warned: "On the day it depends what happens in between the four lines, whoever is psychologically fit for the game and keen to do well will win the game."
Expect to see a highly-motivated Fort Hare outfit giving it their all in front of their home fans and a live nationwide television audience on Monday night.
