Golf Day:

Shimlas will host an alumni Golf Day on the 27 February 2012 at Bloemfontein Golf Club.  The visiting team will have up to 16 of their own alumni joining in the day, which will be a "better ball match play" competition. The rest of the field will be our own alumni and we expect up to 100 players - you are invited to participate and enjoy a great rugby day.

Pre-match drinks:

Tat Botha: 'n Ware rugbyman

Daar is seker nie baie afrigters wat, sommer so uit die vuis uit, 'n Springbokspan kan saamstel uit die spelers oor wie hy die sweep geklap het as junior afrigter nie. So 'n afgrigter is Oom Tat Botha.

A family affair at Kovsies

The University of Free State is a very proud rugby university, especially given the success of the FNB Shimlas in the Varsity Cup and the Bloem City League, but also because of the success of their various old boys at the highest level.
