Oppidani crowned koshuis kings
Oppidani were crowned as NMMU's Steinhoff Koshuisrugby champions on Wednesday.

Oppidani won the game 17-0 in a final in which their opponents, Oceans, never really showed up in. As well as Oceans played in the semifinals, they just made too many handling errors and mostly played as individuals.
Oppidani set up a very good platform with their forwards and protected their possession very well and on the night were a much more cohesive unit and were worthy of being crowned as NMMU's Steinhoff Koshuisrugby champions for 2011.
In the third place play-off, meanwhile, Harlequins lifted their game against opponents Bay XV.
Harlequins' forwards dominated in the play-offs and over-powered a very gallant Bay XV. Too many handling errors and poor tactical decisions and the absence of a reliable goalkicker for Bay XV cost them the game. Harlequins' tight five provided good attacking ball and subsequently they scored four tries to three.
NMMU's Steinhoff Koshuisrugby final scores:
3rd/4th-place play-off:
Harlequins 28 Bay XV 15
Final:
Oppidani 17 Oceans 0
