It's Bastion v Afslaan at UJ
This year's UJ Steinhoff Koshuis tournament is hitting fever-pitch as four deserving teams battled it out for a place in the finals. In the end, Bastion and Afslaan overcame Majuba and Kanniedood, respectively in the First League.
This season's frontrunners, Steinhoff Bastion, showed their worth and demonstrated why they have remained on their perch at . Bastion beat Steinhoff Majuba 33-15 in an intense match which also showed Majuba's many strengths.
Steinhoff Afslaan narrowly edged out Steinhoff Kanniedood with a 13-10 win in a highly-competitive match that could've gone either way.
Whilst the margin may have been small, the significance of the win means a lot for the players as they head into this year's final, which is sure to be an exhilarating affair between two deserving squads.
On the other side of things, the Second League saw Steinhoff Bastion overcome Steinhoff Kanniedood with a convincing 45-14 win, whilst Steinhoff Chiros held no punches when they defeated Steinhoff Soweto 41-0.
