Steinhoff Stallions will represent NMMU in the 2015 Steinhoff Koshuis Rugby Championships after beating Steinhoff Northernz in their internal league final at the Madibaz Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The Stallions brought their A-game despite the stormy weather conditions to take down the tournament-leading Northernz team 10-0.

First to put points on the board was Stallions centre Luke Binneman who scored the opening try for a 5-0 lead. Flank Mark Edwards followed with a second unconverted try to secure the win for the underdogs.

Although Northernz were the team to beat after winning all their games throughout the competition, they were unable to put away the decisive points against the determined Stallions.
