FNB Varsity Cup
FNB UP-Tuks flyhalf/fullback Zander du Plessis is top of the point-scoring charts in this year's FNB Varsity Cup.
The 21-year-old kicked an 83rd-minute match-winning penalty goal against FNB UFS Shimas on Monday night to take his tally for the season to 104.
Second on the list is FNB UCT Ikeys flyhalf James Tedder (77).
Hookers have scored plenty of tries in this year's FNB Varsity Cup, with the FNB NWU Eagles' Gustav du Randt having barged over the line on seven occasions!
In second place on the try-scoring list is FNB UCT Ikeys fullback Athi Gazi with six, while half-a-dozen players have scored five tries each.
The FNB Varsity Cup will continue on Thursday, with five Round 8 matches at the University of Pretoria.
