  • New mascot Enzokuhle goes viral and tail goes missing

NEXT PREVIOUS Competition 26 Feb 2025 New mascot Enzokuhle goes viral and tail goes missing! FNB Varsity Cup and FNB Varsity Shield’s new favourite mascot, Enzokuhle, is stealing the show. But while fans were living for his vibes, they couldn’t help but notice one major detail… his tail is missing ! ‘Where Is His Tail?!’—Fans React to Enzo’s Dance Moves A video posted by TikTok user @Vanessathwala6 captures Enzo in action, and while his dance moves were chef’s kiss , fans couldn’t help but notice his missing tail. The comment section was filled with a few people asking about it: 💬 "I am still worried about his tail hle 😂" – @fentse 💬 "Did he find his tail? 😭" – @Thaphelo During the Round 2 FNB UP-Tuks vs FNB UJ match, some fans got a bit carried away, and in the process ran off with Enzokuhle’s tail. Unfortunately, the incident was not captured on camera, or so we believe... Enzokuhle was so caught up in the spirit of #RugbyThatRocks that he hadn’t even realized his tail was missing! With the crowd’s energy pumping and the adrenaline kicking in, he danced, he vibed, he took his dance moves to the NXT Level. It wasn’t until after the game when the music faded, and the crowd left that Enzo finally realised something was missing. Missing tail or not, Enzo is cementing his place as the people’s mascot! Another video posted by @brooklynduthie on Tiktok shows him dancing his heart out, with the perfect caption, “Being bored in South Africa is a choice.” And the love for Enzo keeps growing—one of his latest viral moments sees him absolutely nailing the Umlando challenge, leaving fans wondering: who is behind this mascot?! 🎥 Watch the Umlando dance challenge: Enzo is a whole icon, and that’s on periodt! One question remains—where is his tail?! Let us know your theories on social! • Meet Pokkel the most mischevious Varsity Cup mascot

NEXT PREVIOUS Competition 02 Apr 2024 Meet Pokkel, the most mischevious Varsity Cup mascot Did you know that in 2019, Pokkel, the mischievous mascot of Stellenbosch University, caused quite a stir during the traditional Varsity Cup final post-game celebration? With just five minutes left on the clock, Pokkel couldn't contain his excitement and made a premature celebratory run across the field! As the game continued with an intense showdown unfolding, Pokkel dashed from in front of the grandstand, racing towards Maties' try line on the right side of the field. This unexpected sprint took place just beside where a scrum was being set up, catching everyone off guard. Security swiftly intervened, intercepting Pokkel on the other side of the field and escorting him off before play could be disrupted. Despite his spirited antics, the game resumed without a hitch, and the crowd was left buzzing with excitement. The following year Pokkel went viral yet again, this time after challenging a Maties security guard to a dance-off. While Pokkel may have gotten a bit carried away in the heat of the moment he always leaves a memorable impression on fans and players alike. Next time you're at a Varsity Cup final, keep an eye out for Pokkel – you never know when he might add a dash of excitement to the proceedings!
