In 2023, the FNB Varsity Cup and Shield universities united as catalysts of change with the introduction of the ShowUs CSI campaign. Now, in 2024, we're catching up with the universities to find out how their chosen initiatives impacted those around them.

On the field, the iconic Pink Shorts Initiative continues to shine. During each Varsity Cup match, the player of the match from the previous game proudly wears a pair of pink shorts. More than just a symbol of winning Player That Rocks (man of the match), these pink shorts are a beacon of hope, raising awareness for worthy causes close to our hearts.

Over the years, the Pink Shorts Initiative has been a force for good, gathering support and raising funds for various charities and causes. From standing against women and child abuse to supporting mental health initiatives, we've made meaningful strides together.

This year we are ready to take it to the next level!

South Africa is a nation in need of unity and action. Challenges loom large, but so do opportunities for change. It's time for every one of us to step up and make a difference.
