Medics top at Wits

Steinhoff Medics have clinched first place on the log after the round robin leg of the Steinhoff Wits Internal Rugby League and now go in search of the coveted Steinhoff Shield as the competition enters the play-off stage.

The young doctors, unbeaten this season, edged Steinhoff Masakhane into second place while Steinhoff Engineers and Steinhoff Commerce filled third and fourth spots respectively.

The last round of games were watched by the biggest crowd of the season and the players did not disappoint as they produced some attractive and competitive rugby.

Steinhoff Monash caused an upset of epic proportions when they dismantled current champions Steinhoff Humanities 24 - 18, while Steinhoff Commerce got back to winning ways defeating Steinhoff Mens Residence in a four try apiece thriller.
